Sam, originally from Michoacán and raised in West Seattle, started doing yard work and small handyman projects on the side while working full-time as a line cook to make ends meet. What began as a side hustle quickly grew into a passion for improving homes and helping his community. After being laid off from his cooking job, Sam decided to turn that passion into a full-time business — founding Sam’s Landscaping.

Growing up in West Seattle, Sam noticed that many homeowners were being overcharged for basic handyman and yard services. That’s why he built his business on fair estimates, honest work, and dependable service.
